Prayer to the Hearts of the Holy Family
Holy Family, I give my heart to You to protect, guide and fill me with graces on my earthly pilgrimage. Let my heart be overflowing with so many of Your graces that I become a missionary of grace to my family, friends and all who the Holy Spirit places in my path.
Holy Family, I give my heart to You to transform the hearts of my family into the likeness of Your Holy Hearts. Make our home to be like Yours so that it is filled with the love, peace and joy that only God can give. I beg You to carry our family's hearts at each moment and set them aflame with Your Divine Love so that we can joyfully carry our crosses each day.
At the end of our lives, I implore You to place our hearts into the bosom of the Blessed Trinity to spend all eternity in Heaven. We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Holy Family, I give my heart to You
The Holy Family Consecration uses the prayer based upon the image of the Hearts of the Holy Family. Each member of the Holy Family leads us to a deeper relationship with each Divine Person of the Blessed Trinity.
St. Joseph holds the Holy Family in his arms to protect, guide and love Them like Our Heavenly Father does for us. This image helps us grow in trust and love of Our Heavenly Father and to see Him as all good -- even when His Holy Will involves trials and storms.
In Our Lord's Hands, our hearts feel so loved that we are able to joyfully embrace the big and little crosses of our lives -- uniting them to Our Savior's Holy Cross so that our old self is crucified so that our human hardened selfish prideful hearts die and are replaced by hearts like the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which is meek, humble, peaceful and willing to sacrifice out of love for God and those God wants to show His Divine Sacrificial Love. This Divine Sacrificial Love is depicted by the image of the Cross in the flames of the heart held by Jesus.
Our Blessed Mother's hands support our heart in the Divine Hands of her Son. As the spouse of the Holy Spirit, Mary inflames our hearts with graces from the Holy Spirit to burn away all that is not pure so that the Holy Spirit can fill our hearts with Sanctifying Grace so we can live in peace because the Blessed Trinity has made a home in our hearts. With God's peace and love living in our hearts, we can then love God and others with a Divine Love that brings peace to our homes, our community and our world. We can fully surrender our selfish will for God's All Good and All Loving Holy Will.

Worried about those you love?
Pray
"Holy Family, I give (name of person)'s heart to You
This simple prayer allows us to hand over to God all of the stress and anxiety that we feel about the problems of those we love .
Once we give their hearts to the Holy Family, we can rest in the peace of God knowing that Jesus, Mary and Joseph will take care of everything and work all situations for our loved one's good. We can then spend our time loving our family and friends instead of wasting precious moments stressing over situations that we do not have the power to fix.
Hearts of the Holy Family
Chaste Heart of St. Joseph
The lilies on the heart of St. Joseph represent purity. Pure hearts are able to hear the voice of God in their lives in the same way St. Joseph was able to follow God's Holy Will throughout his life. The flames represent his love for God, which allowed St. Joseph to love Our Blessed Mother and Jesus in the same way Our Heavenly Father loves all of His children. In this way, the Chaste Heart of St. Joseph leads us to the Heart of our Heavenly Father.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus
The Cross on the Sacred Heart of Jesus represents how Our Lord died to save us from our sins, open up the gates of Heaven and to show how much God loves each of us. The thorns around His Heart represent the suffering that Our Lord endured because He loves us. The flames represent Divine Love and its transforming power when He sets our hearts aflame. In Our Lord's Hands, our weak human heart becomes set aflame with the fire of the Holy Spirit.
The Sword piercing Mary's heart represents the sorrows that she suffered as the mother of Our Lord. Her heart is surrounded by roses to symbolize the joys of Heaven. There is also a lily that is sprouting from her heart to show her purity. The flames represent the intensity of her love for God and man. When Mary gave her "yes" to becoming the mother of Our Savior, she also became the spouse of the Holy Spirit and can give us the graces we need to be more like her.
